SOCIAL STAND presents human-centered products rather than capital-centered ones such as fair trade products and environment-friendly products. “WALKSHOP,” another name of SOCIAL STAND, embodies two meanings :
- 1) a place to experience relaxations of walking and enjoyment of shopping and
- 2) “Workshop,” a research process.
Visitors can experience the excitement of valuable shopping through the brands of SOCIAL STAND: Greenbliss – a natural brand manufacturing stylish socks with organic cotton; and Sungsill Hwarang, an art brand selling unique products with reinterpreted engendered animal designs by using illustration and graphic design techniques.
As a natural brand manufactures stylish socks with organic cotton not treated with pesticides and chemical fertilizers for the last three years.
Sungsil Hwarang produces unique products with reinterpreted engendered animal designs by using illustration and graphic design techniques. It donates a part of its profits to charity organizations for endangered animals and abandoned animals.
Jerrybag is a backpack brand named after and inspired by the “jerrycan,” a plastic container used to transport and store drinking water in Uganda, Africa. Jerrybag uses a certain portion of its profits to improve poor water environment in Uganda.
